enclosed areas. Its robust construction helps protect against common issues such as mold,
mildew, allergens, fungus, heat loss due to damp insulation, wood rot, and overall degradation
of the encapsulated space. This product also serves as a barrier against radon and methane
gases.

4. Material Composition
The Liner Guys Cross-Woven Polyethylene Vapor Barrier is a multi-ply polyethylene laminate.
The material is flame retardant. It is a white, triple-ply, extrusion coated, virgin polyethylene
membrane manufactured using woven high-density fibers yielding exceptional strength-
to-weight ratio, tensile strength, and puncture resistance.

8. Basic Use
This vapor barrier is primarily used to prevent moisture migration from the soil into crawl
spaces. It provides protection against mold, mildew, allergens, fungus, radon gas, methane

11. Installation Instructions
Install The Liner Guys Cross-Woven Polyethylene Vapor Barrier using appropriate sealing methods
such as tape, mechanical fasteners, termination bars, and/or high-grade construction
adhesive to the upper portion of the block/concrete wall.
*Leave at least a three-inch gap from the sill to the top of the vapor barrier for future termite
inspection.
*Seal the top edge with urethane caulk.
*Seal any holes or openings with vapor tape, vapor patch, and/or vapor mastic to maintain
integrity.
*Overlap joints a minimum of twelve inches and seal overlaps together with vapor tape.
